DEL THE FUNKY HOMOSAPIEN is still going strong after 20 years of putting out ground breaking hip-hop. His unique style and genre jumping collaborations have built him a massive international fan base. After releasing Both Sides of the Brain, Rolling Stone commented that “…he(Del) cements his status as rap's staunchly independent lord of the underground and perhaps the best rapper you've never heard.”
His collaboration with GORILLAZ included Buena Vista's Social Club's Ibrahim Ferrer and Kid Koala and was a smash hit worldwide. The hit single “Clint Eastwood” featuring vocals from DEL, has pushed sales above the 5 million mark. DEL now embarks on the ICE COLD tour with BUKUE ONE to prove once again that he is the lord of underground hip-hop.

I need these Del tickets because I’ve been kicking myself since I missed his last free show in Portland.
February 8, 2011 at 17:28
Huge Del fan. Feel in love with his voice on the Gorillaz music video for Clint Eastwood and didn’t realize who is was for a while. Went back and got into the Heiro stuff after that. Have never seen Del live and would love to get the chance.
February 8, 2011 at 17:42
Damn…I Wish My Brother George Was Here, he loves Del too.
I would love to see this show.
Sincerely,
Mr. Bob Dobalina

What pinhead wouldn’t wanted to see this show? Deltron is the future, send me there!
February 8, 2011 at 18:09
Deltron taught me everything I know about Scrabble.
February 8, 2011 at 18:19
Del makes my soul move and my body rock! His music makes me forget the grey that surrounds me. Take me away Del!!!
February 8, 2011 at 23:43
I’d love to see the lord of underground hip-hop at Mt Tabor on Sunday.
February 9, 2011 at 07:15
Of *course* the pipeline has tickets! Please pick me! My long-distance boyfriend is coming to town from Tulsa Oklahoma. Music as awesome as Del does not get out that way, and I’d love to take him to this show and remind him of all the awesome that Portland has to offer. Please please and thank you!

I don’t always listen to hip-hop, but when I do, I prefer Del the Funky Homosapien.
February 9, 2011 at 13:50
I bussed all the way to the Rotture and waited in line when he came to do a free show there only to be sadly turned away because the place was at full capacity. My friend and I drank our sorrows away at a nearby bar.
Hoping to right that night by seeing him at Mt. Tabor for free.
February 9, 2011 at 16:39
!!! Say what?! Del has often visited my headphones & he’s always welcome in. I’d love to see him live, and much more so if it’s free.
February 10, 2011 at 01:48
It’s my nephews 14th birthday and he’s never been to a concert so as it’s an all ages show I really want to take him.
February 10, 2011 at 12:54
Wow! Sounds like an awesome show! Just that he has collaborated with awesome musicians such as Buena Vista Social Club and Gorillaz says a lot about his talent. Would love to be witness to this.
February 10, 2011 at 13:47
My bestest guy friend would love to go to this show and I would love to surprise him with this since he does so much for me.
February 10, 2011 at 14:08
One one Dell’s albums defined an entire summer of fun a few years back. To see his talent live would be sweet.

Loooove me some Del!
February 10, 2011 at 16:05
Attending Don Younger’s wake this night but would gladly carry on the night at Mt. Tabor if I won some tickets. Missed Del when he did his [relatively] unannounced show a while back.
February 11, 2011 at 06:52
I just need to get out
February 11, 2011 at 08:36
Please.
February 11, 2011 at 08:55
My husband has been a fan of Del’s for years and there has always been some reason he had to miss every. single. one. of Del’s shows. I would love to surprise him with tickets!
February 11, 2011 at 09:16
I’d like to go because I wish my brother George was here. In the eleventh hour of the year 3030, I had a third eye vision that it ain’t illegal yet. There’s no need for alarm as both sides of the brain have come full circle to find the missing link. A future development of the funk man’s automatik statik will win me tickets to this show.

Moved here from MN last week, home of a great hip hop scene. Need some of the west coast good stuff. You know, D-E-L, Yeah! Lyrical master, turnin mic sessions to disaster areas.
February 11, 2011 at 09:33
Pretty please?
February 11, 2011 at 10:07
…last show was free and didn’t hear about it!! I’m going with or without the free tix…FREE is always better!! PEACE
February 11, 2011 at 10:25
hip hop icon, and collaborator of one of my alltime favorite songs that he did with handsome boy modeling school and barrington levy. THE WORLDS GONE BAD! so good. “situation bad, not meaning good.” and the fact that he was in the gorillaz and deltron 3030 is sick. those are some amazing hip hop super groups. never seen del. i wanna get my homosapien on!!
February 11, 2011 at 10:57
I’m a fan from way back (apparently, everyone else here is too) and would love to add Del to my list of legends I’ve seen live!
February 11, 2011 at 10:57
PLease pick me!
I need a fun night out that not too spendy
February 11, 2011 at 11:37
i’m a homosapien, too. yo.
February 11, 2011 at 11:40
The last 5 shows I’ve seen consisted of a bunch of sad, slow jams, so tickets to Del the Funky Homosapien would break the streak and give me a chance to break out the dancing shoes. Taste the happy!
February 11, 2011 at 11:51
Now let’s see Deltron Z! I went to go see him for my birthday in Eugene about 8 years ago, and he cancelled last minute. So I would love to finally get the chance to see him. I’m broke and looking for work, so any help with free tix is much appreciated! Hook a girl up!! Thanks PDXPipeline!!!
February 11, 2011 at 11:58
I sent a letter to Santa requesting Homosapien tickets…I did not get tickets for Christmas…actually, I didn’t get anything at all…cheap bastard….thanks Santa.
So, maybe PDX Pipeline can end my disappointment in Santa and score me some tix…
Respect…
February 11, 2011 at 12:01
It’s me, really me, not a look-alike
I know some sound alike but when I’m around a mic
Niggas cut! You know the skit
Del ultimate
Rapper international, with that rational style
I get the, shit off my consciousness and
Pull out the compasses
I’m on some shit you ain’t around, in the town, clown!
Rebound!
February 11, 2011 at 12:06
del has been putting it down for awile now! I haven’t seen him or any other heiro members for some time now and would like to see him perform. ’93 to infinite.
February 11, 2011 at 12:17
My first exposure to Del was the Deltron 3030 album, and I’ve since become a fan of all things Del. But I’m kinda broke and free tickets to the show would make my whole month!
February 11, 2011 at 12:21
If picked I will whore myself out… wait scratch that… I’m just a respectful long-time DEL fan who like you, loves music and free things. Now if we can make these free tix happen, who knows what my happy self might do. Attend the show, yes. Whore myself out, we’ll see.
February 11, 2011 at 12:22
I’m a robot messaging from the future. The year 3030, to be exact. Time travel has finally been discovered. I plan on coming back to see this show, on the night of Sunday February 13th. Please don’t let me down my ancient earthling cousins. Del is known throughout the cosmos these days!
February 11, 2011 at 12:32
Oh man, Del Tha Funkee Homosapien! Deltron 3030 is one of the best hip-hop albums of all time! And his work with tons of other folks (Gorillaz, HBMS) and his tracks on the Think Differently album… Going to this show would be supremely awesome!
February 11, 2011 at 12:37
