Helium Comedy Club located welcomes Tig Notaro from “Comedy Central's Benson Interruption," NBC's “Last Comic Standing” and ABC's “Jimmy Kimmel Live” on 2/10-12 and on Valentine's Day. Show times are 8pm on Thursday, 7:30 and 10pm on Friday and Saturday and 8pm on Monday. Tickets range from $15-$25.
Since getting her start in stand-up back in 1498, Tig has appeared in a number of television shows. She is most well-known as "Officer Tig" on Comedy Central's THE SARAH SILVEMAN PROGRAM. In previous years, Tig played "Rhoda" on the ABC sitcom IN THE MOTHERHOOD (with Megan Mullally and Cheryl Hines), "Leigh-Roy" on Comedy Central's critically acclaimed DOG BITES MAN (with Zach Galifianakis), was a recurring guest-host on AMC's MOVIES AT OUR HOUSE, had her own half-hour special, COMEDY CENTRAL PRESENTS TIG. She has also performed on NBC's LAST COMIC STANDING, ABC's JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE, NBC's LAST CALL WITH CARSON DALY, ABC's COMICS UNLEASED, Comedy Central's PREMIUM BLEND and on Showtime's series LIVE NUDE COMEDY!
In 2006-2007, Tig performed as part of The Crackpot Comedy Tour, a series of house concerts across the country in the living rooms, basements, rooftops, garages, backyards, lofts and barns of fans. The tour features rotating guest comics and local MCs in each town with occasional surprise celebrity drop-ins. Tig also completed, "Have Tig at Your Party," her DVD that features her standing still for an hour and speaking infrequently into the camera, in hopes of blending into any party once you press play.
Tig currently resides in Venice Beach, CA, on the same street as Julia Roberts, but in a much smaller house.

I’d see Tig any day possible. When my hot water tank went, the man who replaced it was a 50-something named Tig. Just before he left, he asked “can I use your ‘toidy’?” I said sure. Thirty seconds later, I heard farting, and squirts and splatters. He blasted out a huge splatter s#*t in my ‘toidy’. “Tig” left saying, “have a nice day!”

I’d like to go see Tig for free because it would make my ex fuck buddy jealous. As part of our courting days we would regularly text eachother links to funny comedy clips and links to the best comedian appearances on podcasts. Back when we were still messing around we considered filming a “perform in my livingroom” plea, but the the guy abrutly ended things with me, moved away and left me without a comedy partner. He obnoxiously manitains a one sided texting correspondence to this day, mostly sharing with me recaps of all all the live comedy he has the pleasure of seeing up in Seattle. Give me the satisfaction of winning a free night of entertainment and the bragging rights on top of that. I promise to bring a hotter guy as my date.

We regularly take friends and family out to local shows and bars. I also do twice a month Girl’s Nights! We have not yet tried Helium, we would love to have another spot to frequent!!! We also just found out we are pregnant and would love to go out and celebrate with a good laugh with a great comedian!!
