Thirsty Lion Pub & Grill will open its doors for the highly anticipated St. Patrick's Day Festival on Thursday, March 17th. With locations both downtown on SW 2nd and Ash St., as well as the new location at Washington Square in Tigard, everyone can be a part of the St. Patrick's Festival. A festival wristband also gets you into Thirsty Lion, Barracuda, Dixie Tavern, Lotus and Gypsy.
Both Thirsty Lion locations will feature live music starting at 11am and running through midnight on St. Patrick's Day. Bagpipers, Irish Dancers and performances will take place throughout the day as the Thirsty Lion comes alive with friends enjoying great beer, food and fun. The festivities won't stop at midnight however, each location will feature live music on Friday and Saturday evenings, as well as hosting viewing parties for the Portland Timbers first match on Saturday the 19th.
Thirsty Lion's St. Patrick's menu features a diverse array of fresh, local ingredients, with dishes such as Oven Roasted Lamb Shank, Corned Beef & Savoy Cabbage Wraps, Beer Braised Corned Beef Brisket and Bushmill's Bing Cherry Bread Pudding. The Thirsty Lion also prides itself on having a premier craft and international beer lineup; Washington Square features a whopping 52 and downtown a hefty 23.
