-----------------

The Blazers face the Cleveland Cavaliers at home tonight. They’re in the bottom half of the league in PPG, RPB, APG and points allow. They also play poorly on the road (currently 5-28).

The only positive thing you can say about them is that they’re coming off a 97-93 road win last night in Sacramento against the Kings. However, that just means they’re going to be playing on tired legs tonight.

The on Cavaliers on paper:
Starting five: Alonzo Gee, Samardo Samuels, J.J. Hickson, Ramon Sessions, Anthony Parker
Off the bench: Joey Grahm, Ryan Hollins, Daniel Gibson, Luke Harangody, Manny Harris, Christian Evenga

MISCELLANEOUS NOTES
Skip this one and watch NCAA hoops tonight.

STRATEGY
Not too many moving parts here. The Blazers should put this one away early by playing team basketball. Which will allow Nate to set Patty Mills and the rest of the C team loose to finish out the game early in the second half.

LET’S GET RICH

To date: 29-21-2
Blazers -14. I’ll take the Cavaliers to keep it interesting.

BOTTOM LINE
The only pitfall the Blazers need to avoid tonight is getting caught looking ahead to the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday.
