The Pojama People team up once again with Zappa alum IKE WILLIS for an awesome live performance of Frank Zappa’s music at the Mt. Tabor Theater. Willis worked with music legend Frank Zappa from 1978 to 1993, and can be heard on such notable albums as Joe’s Garage (he was “Joe”), Thingfish (he was “Thingfish”) and Best Band You Never Heard In Your Life (he was “The Walrus”)
Opening for Pojama People is Twisted Whistle, an awesome combination of bluegrass, jazz, americana and rock and roll featuring a cello, guitar, mandolin and percussion. Their Pink Floyd covers will blow your mind.
Don’t miss this opportunity to see IKE Willis and the Pojama people bring Frank Zappa alive at the Mt. Tabor Theater.

There can be nothing more comforting in a time of uncertainty than the aural sensations of Frank Zappa and his talented compadres. I have have been saved from many a dark hour by the wisdom and splendor of such greatness, and I would be honored to have the chance to celebrate the arrival of Spring on a positive note. Its been too long since I’ve been able to afford a quality live music performance and lets face it, this winter was rough. Getting to boogie down with the Pojama People would surely elevate my spirit and soul, galoot!

I have been a Zappa fan since I was in highschool (17 yrs.). He is my favorite musician EVER. Unfortunateley he passed away before I was able to attend one of his shows. I remember hearing it on my mom’s car radio on the way home from school one day and I was devastated. I have collected over 50 of his CD’s. I ABSOLUTELEY LOVE THINGFISH!!! It would be an honor to see this show and I will likely pay even if I don’t win. It is also my brother’s birthday tomorrow and he is visiting for the weekend. This would be so AWESOME!
