The Washington Wizards come to town tonight and the Blazers are out for blood.

After losing a close game with the Lakers on Sunday, paired with an embarrassing loss to the Wizards in December. The Blazers will be looking to deliver a knockout punch against an extremely beatable team.

The Wizards are currently 17-51, and are 2-13 over their last 15 with their only wins coming at home against the Minnesota TImberwolves and New Jersey Nets. However, the most telling stat is that they’re 1-31 on the road (they got the best of the Cleveland Cavaliers at home last month).

Paul and Storm have been writing and performing funny songs together for a long, long time, starting with their stint together in a cappella band Da Vinci’s Notebook. Their music tends to make people laugh and feel good, and Paul and Storm believe that this makes their pursuit noble, right and just.

BONUS: their live show is better than 1,000 Fonzies, and more spellbinding than Mr. T on a unicycle.

Anyone with ADD will appreciate the broad range of territory that Paul and Storm cover in their music… Chicken nuggets. Love. Boxing nuns. Relationships. Pirates. Friendship. If James Taylor were on fire.

Catchy melodies and well-constructed music underpin the comedy, and in live performance their harmonies draw comparisons to the Everly Brothers, while their stage presence evokes Read the rest of this entry »

A spectacular evening of music awaits as renowned guitarist/mandolinist Scott Law and bassist extraordinaire Tye North invite fiddler Luke Price and string master Tony Furtado to join them for two sets ranging from traditional bluegrass to acoustic takes on favorites from the Americana and rock songbook.

About Scott Law:

Guitarist, songwriter-composer and singer, Scott Law embodies the ideal of the American Steel-String Guitar Master. A brilliant and versatile instrumentalist, Scott's alternately chiming and grinding melodic concept bears favorable comparison with everyone from the early Telecaster masters to Stevie Ray Vaughan to Jerry Garcia, creating a style that bears his unique stamp yet freely ranges over the entire history of blues, rock and bluegrass guitar.

Scott’s adventurous musicality connects him with audiences across the globe, propelled by his rhythmic concision and groove as a member of pioneering fiddler Darol Anger’s Republic of Strings and through his own solo and group endeavors.
