The Washington Wizards come to town tonight and the Blazers are out for blood.
After losing a close game with the Lakers on Sunday, paired with an embarrassing loss to the Wizards in December. The Blazers will be looking to deliver a knockout punch against an extremely beatable team.
The Wizards are currently 17-51, and are 2-13 over their last 15 with their only wins coming at home against the Minnesota TImberwolves and New Jersey Nets. However, the most telling stat is that they’re 1-31 on the road (they got the best of the Cleveland Cavaliers at home last month).
The on Wizards on paper:
Starting five: Yi Jianlian, Trevor Booker, JaVale McGee, Jordan Crawford, John Wall
Off the bench: Maurice Evans, Cartier Martin, Othyus Jeffers, Kevin Seraphin, Nick Young
MISCELLANEOUS NOTES
Marcus Camby is questionable for tonight’s game.
STRATEGY
This is an easy one tonight: the strategy is play team basketball and put them away early.

BOTTOM LINE
The Blazers need to focus on tonight’s game and not get caught looking ahead to the difficult end of year schedule; 8 of their last 11 regular season games are against Western Conference playoff teams.
