A stretch of very difficult games begins tonight as the Blazers face the San Antonio Spurs at home.
The 57-13 Spurs will be without Tim Duncan who severely sprained his ankle against the Golden State Warriors Monday night. Initial reports put him out for at least three games.
The on Spurs on paper:
Starting five: Richard Jefferson, Antonio McDyess, Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili, Tiago Splitter
Off the bench: Matt Bonner, Steve Novak, George Hill, Daniel Green, Gary Neal, James Anderson
STRATEGY
With Duncan out, the Spurs are thin in the front court; by attacking Splitter early and putting him on the bench the key will open up and the Blazers will be able to score easy buckets in the paint.

Last home game before a difficult three game west coast swing. The Spurs are without Tim Duncan making this a great opportunity to steal a win from one of the hottest teams in the league.
