Ever since Chicago native Aries Spears was 14 years old, he has been a force to be reckoned with in the comedy scene throughout America. His quick wit, charisma and ferociously aggressive style of comedy have earned him critical acclaim, high accolades, and above all, a busy schedule. From being a regular on Fox's Mad TV, starring in feature films, appearing on a number of national talk shows, and continually touring the country with his stand-up, Aries's talents are becoming recognized and appreciated throughout the entertainment industry.
As a principal cast member on Fox's hit sketch comedy show Mad TV, Aries brought a fresh, hip style to the already-edgy program from the third through the tenth season. The producers made full use of many of Aries's talents by calling on him frequently to create new hilarious characters and write sketches. Some of the many recurring characters that Aries is famous for on the show include: Belma Buttons, Bill Cosby, Jesse Jackson, Mike Tyson, Walter (Crackheads), Reggie (Erascist), Dollar Bill Montgomery, Shaquille O’Neal, The Klumps, Michael Jackson, Sisqo, Evander Holyfield, El Diablo Negro and more.
Aries continues to spread his comedic wings with the development of feature film projects, which he is currently involved in writing. He is presently developing a feature project based on an original character that he created on Mad TV, as well as a thriller about a young black man immersed in hip-hop culture. He has also lent his voice to an animated character on C-Bear and Jamal and had a recurring stint on Fox's The Best Damn Sports Show Period, where he created some of the show's funniest characters during his short time there.

It’s my mother’s birthday on Friday. She’s had it really rough these past few years (her story is heartbreaking, actually, won’t go into it here). I’d like to take her out to something lighthearted and fun but I was laid off a few months ago and don’t have much money to spend. We both could use a laugh, so the 7:30 Friday show would be perfect.

Hello There,
My husband and I just had our first baby…Naomi is now two months old. I am just now comfortable leaving her with anyone.
My sister agreed to watch Naomi so that my husband and I can have some much needed, one on one quality time. Since we have had the baby my husband feels kind of neglected!
I Love him with all of my heart, and I know he loves to laugh!!!
In fact, Aries is one of his favorites…..
Seeing my Husband happy brings me a great deal of joy…so if you could “hook us up” to “laugh it up” this Saturday…that would be SUPER Amazing!

I love Aries Spears’ impression of DMX and Jay Z! “Ish yo boy!” My husband and I could really use a few laughs right now. He’s new to the U.S. and is feeling A LOT of culture shock, which hasn’t fared well on the relationship. Please pick me to bestow a pair of tickets for Saturday night. I would love to see Aries perform because I love comedy. I scent seen much of his material, but everything I saw I’ve liked! I count on comedy to distract me from the responsibilities of my everyday life. Everyday life has been rough, a diversion would be greatly appreciated. I would tweet all about winning. My reasons for wanting tickets are multiple. 1. I Love Helium, best club in Portland for sure never had a bad time there. 2. While I am a big fan of Arieson Mad TV etc.. I have sadly not seen him do stand up much. 3. Winning tickets will help me save preciousduckets for the Bridgetown festival coming up. 5. Probably most important there could be a girl involved. I just moved here from Tacoma, and haven’t had the funds to attend any indoor entertainment. (Lucky for me, we’ve had a few days of nice outdoor weather!) I adore comedy, I mean, c’mon, who doesn’t love to laugh! It’s also one of my closest friend’s birthdays on Sunday, and I would be so GRATEFUL if I could ring in her 25th year with a happy lil Saturday evening!

I used to be seriously addicted to MADtv in an unhealthy way but ive still kept all my episodes on vhs. I even started my own guide to all that is recurring on the show. I remember back in high school in the late 90′s and tearing it up when Mad TV came on. The early years especially with Aries Spears in it were the best and they still crack me up to this day even on re-runs.
