I’ve got more soul than I know what to do with – unfortunately the same thing can’t be said of my pocketbook. I grew up whispering soul and r&b songs in my room so my father couldn’t hear, and now I belt it out quite frequently in the car and shower. There are so many peeps on this list I would love to see – please make my dreams come true and help me shake my bootay at this music festival. Pleasepleasepleasepleaseplease.

I’ve been teasing my hair and beating my face for days! Just spent my last blang on Big Freedia and I need to see THOSE DARLINS. I danced with my now boyfriend for the first time at their show last year at Dante’s. I’d love to see Black Joe Lewis and Ms Hill too, of course. PLEASE PICK ME!!

I got soul, but I’m not a soldier. I would consider it a great honor to see the lovely Ms. Lauryn Hill perform. She is something else She is strong and beautiful and she and so so so talented. And Mos Def is the greatest rapper, hands down.

I’ve been a big fan of Lauren Hill as a role model and Soulsy inspiration for years. She an unstoppable force as a female artist, both delicate and powerful in her lyrics. I’ve been getting into more soul these days, and had the epiphany that its my music. Everything fits, and the groove is just the right rhythm for any moment in life. I’d like to move my shoulders and nod my head into the atmosphere of this night.

Lauren Hill would be fresh to see. Coachella sold out so this is my only chance. Mos Def is one of the top 10 emmcees of all time. Sos how’s abouts it’s.
