On Sunday, April 17th, the finest pinball players in the Pacific Northwest will once again gather in historic Old Town for Portland Pinbrawl 2011, Ground Kontrol’s third annual pinball tournament. Join your fellow Portland ¬Ëœballers to battle the best of the Northwest for the grand prize: a full-sized pinball machine. Ground Kontrol will extend its beer, wine and food serving hours to cover the entire day of the tournament.
Ground Kontrol's Portland Pinbrawl tournaments have drawn nearly 250 players over the past two years combined, some traveling from as far as Canada to compete. A packed house is expected once again for Portland Pinbrawl 2011, and registration is capped at 128 players.
Spectators are encouraged to arrive at 4:00pm to watch the final matches. This tournament is brought to you by Aaron Nelson, Eric Hill, Fred Franken and Ground Kontrol Classic Arcade. Pre-registration for Portland Pinbrawl 2011 is highly recommended and is available online.
Ground Kontrol Classic Arcade is the premier arcade in the Northwest, featuring 26 of the most exciting pinball games and 80 classic video arcade games in a two-story game room.
