Spend Derby Day at Blitz Ladd! It will be an epic afternoon of Mint Juleps, horse ¬Å“wagering¬Â to benefit the Red Cross, costumes, camaraderie, and good clean fun. All to enjoy the most exciting two minutes in sports!
Get there early to snag a prime viewing spot–and the race is much more fun in direct proportion to the number of Juleps you drink. Just sayin.

The event is free and you can win prizes like hats from Bonnet, gift certificates to Blake or Under U 4 Men, an overnight stay at the Lynnwood Marriot, a fashion accessory from Moto Kitty, and a case of Pirates Booty! All you need is a perfect Derby outfit and a winning attitude.
May flowers have now arrived, but April showers caused damage and devastation across many southern states, including Kentucky. Heavy rains prompted road closures and evacuations in Lexington and beyond, but the American Red Cross was there to help, providing food, shelter, comfort and hope.
