International recording artist Marv Ellis has been performing live positive hip hop for almost a decade. He’s opened for world touring acts such as Nas, Bone, KrS-One, Speech (of Arrested Development), Tre Hardsen (of Pharcyde), Souls of Mischief, Lyrics Born, Mr. Lif, The Living Legends, Ozomotli, C RayZ WalZ, The Coup, Blackalicious. One of the hardest working emcees on the west coast, Marv Plays with any and almost every genre, improving his abilities daily and continuing to further his self taught skills. Creating and mixing mostly all of his beats, Marv Ellis has twisted and chopped music from all over the world, slowly and quietly earning himself a great reputation amongst his peers.
Five Alarm Funk are a horn powered, percussion fuelled sonic and visual assault. For more than six years the band has brought their relentless and unforgettable live show to clubs and major festivals across Canada and the United States. The group on stage is an unstoppable orgy of energy. Ten musicians perform intricate and airtight arrangements with delirious dance moves and full on headbanging. Choreographed arm movements coincide with melodic climaxes while the four percussionists create a true spectacle.

Dj Magneto (a.k.a. ERS-ONE, a.k.a. Manny Roldan) is a funk enthusiast, soul lover, fun junkie, style pusher, turntable operator, dubwise master, bass addict, taco quality control consultant, burger blogger, and an all around nice guy.
Roldan has been in the mix since he was a youth, back in 1993. Started out doing high school jams, raves, and house parties in Southern Cali fornia. Specialized in reggae jungle and its roots, hip-hop culture, breakbeat techno, hardcore, 90s styles, and is now blending the best of those vibes together.
