This is roller derby up close and personal! The high-stakes High Rollers will face-off against the sweet-tart Break Neck Betties in the second bout of the weekend. Can the High Rollers hold on to their winning streak and remain undefeated? The battle takes place at the Hangar at Oaks Park. This 2011 season has been filled with all the hard-hitting roller derby action fans have come to expect from Portland’s toughest athletes.

I was invited to go once and had to turn it down due to a wedding. I’ve been kicking myself ever since. Hard workin’, good lookin’ women in full battle. Can’t think of a better night out than that! Would love to go on the Friday night gig.

I have never been to the roller derby before and my girlfriend is continuously asking me to take her. I have been out of work for a couple months so winning tickets for either friday or saturday would be amazing and I guarantee that we will be right up front, cheering until our voice’s are gone

Me and my Dad have been dying to go to one of these for years- after a serious accident last winter, he has finally completed physical rehab and ready to get out again. My Great Grandfather passed away last week. We were extremely close. He a huge part of why I am the strong woman that I am today. Since his passing I have been reevaluating my bucket list. Consequently, Roller Derby is the next item on the list, I really admire the strength and determination it takes for these women to put on the performance required by their sport. I would love to be able to attend and honestly, could use a little fun right now! I would love to be considered.

My psyche needs a shot in the arm, my karma needs a boost, and my force-field will protect me from all the flying female bodies!
