Hi! I’d like to attend Dov’s 10pm Friday night show cuz A) I’ve wanted to see him for over a year now, after seeing his dry delivery for the first time on Chelsea Lately, and B) cuz my husband and I need a night out to laugh together as he has succeeded in pissing me off Mon-Wed nights and we could use some QT so that I don’t kill him by the end of the week. ;) j/k But seriously, could use a night out.

I just had a big blast of family dysfunction. Perfect timing for my favorite kind of escapism…stand up comedy at Helium Comedy Club. The best part is, I’ll be sitting down with a drink and Dov will be working hard to improve my mood. A nice counterbalance for the male family member who has done his damnedest to wreck it.

I’d love to see the Saturday show at 10:00. I’ve had a rough week. My dog swallowed my glass eye when my kid knocked it off the counter while I was soaking it the other night. She still hasn’t passed it yet. They’re taking the microwave out of the office at work because someone cooked something really smelly and it wasn’t even burnt popcorn! So that kind of ruined my week. Also I’ve had a cold and lost my voice. Can it get worse?

I need a laugh! I just spent two hrs in mediation w/my ex husband which is kinda like talking to a wall while getting bs thrown at you! Either show tonight or Saturday would be fabulous!! =) Just keep smiling!
