CeCe Winans is coming for her first appearance in Portland. CeCe Winans will be performing her latest album in honor of the Freedom Day Celebration at New Beginnings Church located at 3300 NE 172nd Place, Portland, Oregon. Other performances by Seeda Wright, Chosen Generation, Alonzo Chadwick and many more.
CeCe Winans, is best known for her inspirational hits Alabaster Box, I Pray, Mercy Said No, It Wasn't Easy, I Surrendar All, Waging War and many more. Her latest album ¬Å“For Always¬Â is a compilation of her most popular songs. CeCe’s collection of Top Ten R&B radio hits include “Count on Me,¬Â her duet with Whitney Houston, from the Waiting to Exhale soundtrack. CeCe is dedicated to using her music ministry to bring others closer to the Lord.
The Freedom Day Celebration is a festival in honor of Juneteenth, the celebration of freedom. Juneteenth is celebrated nationwide every year from June 16-19th. This year marks the first full feature concert in honor of Juneteenth in Portland.

I am SO excited and happy that CeCe Winans is coming to the Portland area. I have been a fan of hers since BeBe and CeCe came out with “Addicted Love”. Her music is such inspiration and she is truly a virtuous woman of God.
I would really love to win these tickets and attend this event to be in the house of worship! I haven’t found a church home yet since I moved out here and I really desire some REAL worship and church that I know CeCe will provide.
Worship and inspirational music like hers helps me get through some of the frustration and challenges I am faced with everyday. Her rendition of “The Blood” keeps reminding that God’s blood will never lose its power and as a Christian, I have to continue to be faithful and obedient.

I would like to attend because I am a youth pastor and would love to bless my youth with free tickets. Cece has been an inspiration to young people especially young girls. In these times with gang violence and our youth facing huge challenges attending this concert would be a glimmer of hope.

CeCe was one of the first African American artists to receive significant airplay on contemporary Christian music radio stations. I would love to hear this inspirational and trailblazing woman on June 16th as it is my birthday.

I would love to go see Cece. I love her inspirational music and it feels good to have her here in the Rose City. It is also nice to see that Portland is bringing in more choices of entertainment to choose from. This would definitely be a great gift and a first concert to share with the new hubby.

CeCe and BeBe have both been an amazing inspiration to me during some of the most difficult times during the past ten years. At the moment I am not working (actively applying!), but would love to be able to share with her, even if just by attending, what an incredible impact she has had on my life through her music and message.
