It’s Memorial Day weekend in Portland and that means it’s Rose Festival time. Below are several great pictures from the 2009 festival. The fireworks are Friday night and there is free admission all day Friday (and FREE admission offered to all veterans, reservist, active military and their legal dependents with valid Military ID every day). Fireworks start at 10PM. More info on the festival and schedule at their website.

Absolutely wonderful pictures of the Rose Festival. Every year I’m amazed that this Portland tradition is so well attended.
