Check out Willamette Week’s Profile on RideOn Portland here.
RideOn is a volunteer-based organization composed of individuals probably a lot like you. We love Portland! We love Portland's nightlife! And we love to partake in all that this vibrant city has to offer. That's why we created RideOn, so we can all enjoy Portland's nightlife safely.
RideOn drivers are dispatched to the aid of intoxicated and/or impaired imbibers on Friday and Saturday nights between the hours of 11pm and 3am in an effort to reduce the number of impaired drivers on the street. Thanks to the help of our awesome sponsors, RideOn is able to provide you with this service for just $15 per ride. The cost of our service is intentionally affordable so that making a good decision will be an easy decision at the end of a night out. Not too shabby, eh?

My friends want me to drink Volcano Bowls and bowl with a hairnet on this weekend. Clearly, I can’t drive if I have a hairnet on my head, a Volcano Bowl strapped to my chin, and a bowling ball in my hand. So I would love a free ride.

I absolutely despise drunk drivers and stand behind this idea 100%. Awesome work they are doing. I would like to support it by using a free pass to get my drunk ass home this weekend.

we were supposed to go camping this weekend but got rained out – if we win, we can go out & party around portland instead, but still get home safely!

It would be great to not have to worry about getting home. My friend just turned 21, and we would like to go out for a wild night.

I would love to stray far enough away from home to try something different than Radio Cab! Happy holiday!

I like the idea of helping people who want to socialize, but have a hard time getting home safely because they can’t afford it. I would like to attend such an event, plus getting to visit another (new to me) Portland venue for fun. Living 30 miles away means the extra expense of a motel, and winning the ticket package would certainly help.
