Best of Oregon Food & Wine Festival showcases the very best of Oregon’s culinary culture — world class wineries, breweries and food artisans. Its mission is to support and promote Oregon’s local economy.

¬Å“Best of Oregon¬Â maintains its message to support ¬Å“the best¬Â local food, wine, and beer producers. Local restaurants such as EaT: An Oyster Bar, Simpatica and Cupcake Jones will provide samples of their cuisine. Wineries in attendance this year include Stoller Vineyards, Folin Cellars and Noble Pig.

¬Å“Best of Oregon¬Â Food & Wine Festival is proud to partner with The Children's Cancer Association as this year's charity partner. A percentage of ticket sales will benefit The Children's Cancer Association. Also, a silent auction is part of the festival program, with 100% of the proceeds going to the charity.

Whole Foods Market, a major sponsor, will donate a percentage of their sales of un-opened bottles of wine they sell at the festival to The Children's Cancer Association. They will be featuring 8-10 locally produced rosé wines.

¬Å“Best of Oregon¬Â partner, Expedia.com, will give away a trip for two to Hawaii in a special drawing. Each time a customer buys an unopened bottle of wine from any of the participating wineries at the festival, they have the opportunity to fill out an entry form to win this trip. Entertainment will be provided by local R&B artist Patrick Lamb.

This year marks the first “Best of Oregon” Wine Awards which recognizes different areas of excellence in craftsmanship of the participating wineries. A panel of judges will be awarding different categories during a blind tasting. Awards will be announced on the day of the event.

Tickets to the main festival are $55.00 and include complimentary wine, beer, and food samples.

In addition, the ¬Å“Best of Oregon¬Â Charity Golf Tournament, sponsored by Kuni BWM and Bunkers Restaurant, will precede this year's festival at the Lake Oswego Golf Course on Friday, August 5th at 1:00 p.m. Golfers can play for a chance to win a BMW from Kuni BMW. A cocktail party will follow the golf tournament from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Participants will enjoy delicious food from local chefs, live music and the ¬Å“Best¬Â in refreshing cocktails from local distilleries.
