July 4th is Monday and there will be many places in Portland and Oregon to watch fireworks + Vancouver, Washington. Unfortunately, the loss of the Portland Beavers appears to have ended PGE Park’s (now Jeld Wen Field) fireworks display, which was one of the best.

Largest July 4th fireworks display in Oregon takes center stage
Enjoy listening to fabulous blues right up to the time the first fireworks burst in the sky to ¬Å“oohs¬Â and ¬Å“ahhs¬Â at 10:05 p.m. on July 4. People begin staking out their favorite viewing spots at about 6 p.m.

2011 marks the 48th year of stunning fireworks at Fort Vancouver! This year is the sesquicentennial of the start of the Civil War, so added fun includes a visit from Abe Lincoln, a Civil War fashion show and black powder demonstrations. USA! More info here…
We started as a small town parade 40 years ago and now ELVIS will be at the Corbett Fun Festival in 2011! (Justin Shandor, winner of the 2010 Elvis tribute Artist Contest – which is a Graceland-sanctioned annual competition, will be here to wow the crowds! ) Along with Buddy Holly, Johnny Cash, Random Pressure, and Stone in Love ( Journey Tribute Band). Celebrate Independence Day with music, fun and east county’s largest fireworks display at Metro’s Blue Lake Regional Park in Fairview. Pack a picnic, load up your loved ones and enjoy fireworks and live music alongside beautiful Blue Lake. Kids can cool off in the water spray ground and discover the new natural playground. West Hills: Terwilliger near OHSU has many spots.
