Portland’s Movies in the Park event kicked off just under two weeks ago and the Noon Tunes concert series in Pioneer Square starts today. In addition, Portland extremely popular Park’s 2011 Summer Concert series begins tonight @ Mt Tabor Park! All the concerts are free and family-friendly.
This picture is from a few years back at the first Mt Tabor concert of the season. Mount Tabor has an ideal location for watching the concerts. It’s warm, and has great shading so you are not getting scorched. Plus, your food and drink (beer! wine!) doesn’t get too hot in your pic-i-nic basket.
