Free Portland Movies @ Pioneer Square Starts Friday – “Flicks on The Bricks | Top Gun, Stand By Me, & More

There is another free annual Portland events series starting this Friday. It is the highly popular Flicks on the bricks featuring five movies over the next five weeks and they are going to stay highly popular with this lineup that includes Top Gun, Stand By Me, and Westside Story. There will also be free popcorn to the first 1,000 attendees!

Portland Flicks on the Bricks Press Release:
On five Friday evenings in July and August, the Square will be transformed into an outdoor movie theater for the entire community to enjoy! Pioneer Courthouse Square will kick-off this year's FREE five-week outdoor movie series, Flicks on the Bricks Presented by SmartPark, on Friday, July 22nd. All movies are sure to entertain the entire family and are scheduled on the following Friday nights as follows:
- July 22nd: Top Gun
- July 29th: Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
- August 5th: Westside Story
- August 12th: Despicable Me
- August 19th: Stand By Me
Each Flicks on the Bricks event will kick off at 7pm with live entertainment provided by KINK.FM followed by movies which will begin at dusk. Admission is FREE and attendees are encouraged to bring low back chairs, pillows, cushions or bean bags to truly make the Square their ¬ËœLiving Room.' FREE popcorn, courtesy of Muve Music , will be provided to the first 1,000 people and food and beverages will be available for purchase on-site.
