Join us for balmy evenings and beguiling views atop the parking rooftop at the Hotel deLuxe, SW 15th at Yamhill. Festivities begin at 8 p.m. with music and refreshments. Gracie's Restaurant will offer easy-to-juggle meals, snacks, and cocktails, and additional beverages will be available from TAZO Tea, MacTarnahan's Brewing, and Viso.
The screenings start when the sun goes down, around 9 p.m. Bring your own portable chair, pillow, or blanket, but please no pets or outside food or drink.
From the opening helicopter shot zooming over the Las Vegas Strip at night accompanied by the rollicking title song, VIVA LAS VEGAS features an Elvis in full-throttle command-except when it comes to the irresistible charms of a red-hot Ann-Margret. After his racecar's engine blows, Lucky Jackson (Presley) mislays a nest egg-sized wad of cash earmarked for repairs. Lucky bumps (and grinds) into vivacious swim instructor Rusty Martin (Margret) on his way to finding some viable wheels to enter the first annual Las Vegas Grand Prix. Featuring an iconic dance number by Margret in black tights and Elvis blowing the doors off the title song, it'll set your soul on fire! (85 mins.)

I would love to do something like this. I worked at the Nines for a year and half and they never done anything like this. I think its cool that the hotel deluxe is doing activities like this for people its even great for business. I have already shared this with people and there thinking about good they thinks its great.

I would LOVE to get a chance to attend this event, for many reasons. First, I haven’t ever been to one of the outdoor screenings downtown, and I’ve always wanted to go when I read about them. I also love movies, especially old movies and I’ve never gotten to seen an Elvis movie! I’m a huge fan of Las Vegas, it would be a treat to see it on film, as well. this is the first summer that i’ve had an actual summer boyfriend. what a great way for me to make an amazing impression is to win tickets to this event because shows i’m lucky, that i’m classy because of it being at the hotel deluxe and that i truly listen to what he says when he talks about elvis all the time.
