On Sunday, August 7, Lincoln Restaurant will host ¬Å“A Northwest Collaborative Dinner¬Â allowing diners to partake in a communal experience where they can learn about the methods that brought their food and wine to the table directly from the farmers and winemakers.
Representatives from Elk Cove Vineyards and Lemelson Vineyards will pour a variety of their delicious wines, accompanying hors d'oeuvres and a four-course dinner by Lincoln chef and co-owner Jenn Louis. The family-style meal will feature multiple rabbit dishes, compliments of Dutcher Farm/Nicky Farms, processed and distributed by Nicky USA.
The evening is designed to educate diners and celebrate the integrity of those who build their businesses around sustainable farming practices, thereby feeding Portland's hungry patrons in the most thoughtful and delicious ways possible. In addition to the meal itself, the event will feature a slideshow and brief presentation by key spokespeople from each company discussing ¬Å“vine to bottle¬Â winemaking and whole animal production of ¬Å“farm to table¬Â dining.
