Join us for balmy evenings and beguiling views atop the parking rooftop at the Hotel deLuxe, SW 15th at Yamhill. Festivities begin at 8 p.m. with music and refreshments. Gracie's Restaurant will offer easy-to-juggle meals, snacks, and cocktails, and additional beverages will be available from TAZO Tea, MacTarnahan's Brewing, and Viso.
The screenings start when the sun goes down, around 9 p.m. Bring your own portable chair, pillow, or blanket, but please no pets or outside food or drink.
A modern-day Midas, Auric Goldfinger (Gert Fröbe) is out to irradiate all the gold in Fort Knox with a stolen atom bomb, thus boosting the market price of his personal fortune. Only one man stands in his way. Hold on to your ejector seat (and your vodka martini) as 007 gets behind the wheel of his tricked-out Aston Martin DB5 to outmaneuver flying razor hats, lasers up the inseam, and the wily Pussy Galore.
Arguably the best of the Bonds, this third installment in the now venerable series teems with heart-stopping action sequences, wry jokes, and Sean Connery at his most suave. Feel free to wear a tuxedo under your wetsuit. (110 mins.)

Sean Connery is a bona fide stud in this movie, and I cannot imagine a better way to enjoy his on-screen performance than being on a Portland rooftop with my studly boyfriend.
