Welcome to Portland’s favorite arts festival

Art In The Pearl®, the annual arts festival, occurs every year on Labor Day weekend. Our 15th annual festival will be held this coming September 3th to September 5th, 2011 and hopes to be one of our best ever. Our festival fills the Northwest Portland Park blocks with art, theater, music, and hands-on activities for people of all ages.

Things to see and do at Art In the Pearl

  • Over one hundred artists showing and selling their work
  • A World Music Stage with a variety of music and theater
  • An Education Pavillion featuring hands-on art activities for children and adults
  • Delicious food to enjoy

Art In The Pearl® is a wonderful community event. Over one hundred artists show and sell work ranging from fine wooden furniture to beautiful paintings to photography, glass, clay, metal, jewelry, and much more! 2010 Best of Show Winners
Announcing the winners of our Best of Show awards for 2010: This award is given by the Board of Art In The Pearl to signify distinguished excellence in craftsmanship, inventiveness and originality. This year our awards go to John Benn, Sarah Fox and Joshua Rodine. Congratulations to all the artists for a great show this year!

Art, Music & Food too!
The new World Music Stage has a variety of music, and the education pavillion has hands-on art activities for children and adults. There is also delicious food for sale.

Location and Date
Art In The Pearl, is located in the Northwest Park blocks, between W Burnside and NW Glisan at NW 8th Ave in Portland, Oregon. [Map] The dates are always on Labor Day weekend in early September (September 3th to September 5th, 2011). Hours are 10am to 6pm Saturday and Sunday, 10am to 5pm on Monday.

and entertainment in an interactive and comfortable environment.
We enrich our community by giving back, giving now, and giving forward.

Emerging Artists Program
The Emerging Artist Program is designed to assist Oregon and Washington artists who have minimal to no experience exhibiting and selling their artwork. Artists who are in the early stage of their art career, have made a recent career change to art, and/or recently decided to prioritize art above all else are encouraged to apply. Emerging artists may not have previously participated in more than four juried art shows.The application deadline for this program is now past for our 2011 show.
