Tomorrow is the final 2011 Portland Last Thursday on Alberta where they will close the street down. Somehow, the weather has come back from raining to pretty much perfect for the event.

As we reported a few months back, there is a new organization working with the city and businesses on Alberta to organize the event. They are the ¬Å“Friends of Last Thursday¬Â and have sent us these tips and info for event.

On Twitter? We will be using the @lastthursday account to relay information about the event as always. Also use the #lastthursday hashtag to talk about the event and we retweet many of those.

Actor/comedian Mark Curry is best known as the star of the ABC sitcom “Hangin’ with Mr.Cooper,” which aired for five successful seasons.

Mark has countless other television & film credits, including: his own Comedy Central stand-up comedy special, three years of hosting duties on “Showtime at the Apollo,” and starring in the feature “The Fanatics.”

Mark grew up in Oakland, California. He still spends much of his time there, performing to sold-out crowds.
