Join us for this special one-day pet fair where you and your pooch can howl in delight, sniff out new toys and treats, and learn from a variety of presentations and demonstrations. Just like last year, for one day only, dogs will be allowed to visit inside the Discovery Museum and the adjoining buildings on campus with all the retail and non profit vendors. So grab your favorite pooch and have a howling good time!
Schedule of Events
11:00am – 4:30pm ~ Oakshire Brewing Pooch Pub
Grab a brew and relax in the Pooch Pub with your pup as you savor two types of amazing beers including Watershed IPA and the seasonal winter Ill Tempered Gnome from Eugene based Oakshire Brewing Co. and nosh on delicious pizza slices and salad from Goose Hollow’s Bellagios Pizza
10:30am – 3:30pm ~ Spot Magazine Cover Model Search
Renowned photographer David Childs will be snapping candid photos of canine visitors for a small fee to be donated to Spot’s non profit of choice. All photos will be entered into a drawing to be a 2012 cover model for Spot Magazine. One lucky winner goes in studio for a cover shoot (by random drawing – they’re all beautiful to Spot!) Everyone is featured inside!
11:00am – 12:00pm ~ Fashion Show by Wild Child Pet Fashions
Wild Child Pet Fashions will be showing off rescue dogs on the runway with their ready-to-wear fall looks including jackets, dresses, jewelry, harnesses and more!
12:00 – 1:00pm ~ Pet Emergency Prevention: Keep Your Pets Safe and Your Money in Your Wallet
Dr. Jason Nicholas, BVetMed of The Preventive Vet will be giving a presentation on general pet safety as well as emergency room prevention.
2:00pm – 3:00pm ~ Pooch Parade
Enter your canine companion in the Pooch Parade where furry contestants will be judged in three categories and could win fabulous prizes for both you and fido!

Day of Registration Only. Registration starts at 11:00am and ends at 1:30pm. All contestants must be set and ready to begin by 1:45pm.

I would love to win tickets to this for our two 11 and 12 year old Australian Shepards so they can come represent the SENIOR dogs who still have the gusto to take big hikes, give huge kisses, and go to awesome events like this :). Plus their owners really enjoy a good beer on a nice fall day.

I would love to win tickets for me and my girl friend and her two Papillons: Bogie and Josie (who was the runt of the litter, but is a cute little runt at that).
