51 events across Portland
Portland Cocktail Week Schedule
4 Days. 51 events. Lots of drinks & lots of fun. All centered around cocktails. Portland Cocktail Week 2010 was a rousing success. This year, it’s set to exceed all expectations and provide a wide range of events, from cheering on bartenders running to kick cancer’s ass to a Great American Distillers Festival and ending the series of events with stripperoke at Devil’s Point.
Portland Cocktail Week Events
Travel Pernod Ricard Event at Wilf’s Restaurant – Thursday, October 20 @ 8:00pm ($40). Tickets to this event. Portland Cocktail Week begins at Wilf's- one of Portland's most elegant destinations and iconic jazz clubs. With an atmosphere that conjures mid-century glamour, Wilf's is the ideal backdrop for our most sophisticated gathering. To enjoy this party, all you’ll need is your most refined attire- we’ll bring the classic cocktails starring Pernod Ricard’s stellar portfolio.
Yacht Rocking with Don Q Rum Event at Lola’s Room – Friday, October 21 @ 8:00pm ($40). Tickets to this event. Kenny Loggins once said, “This is it. The waiting is over.” And, as usual, Mr. Loggins could not be more right. You've waited long enough, and now the party you've been dreaming of is finally here. Our host, Don Q Rums, will whisk you away to a smoother time when the dulcet tones of Michael McDonald's voice set the mood casually encouraging you to slip on your boat shoes and float past all of life's troubles. With a drink in hand, get ready to sing along to your favorite 80s soft rock hits with your very own backing band.
Robots vs. Bartenders Event at Jupiter Hotel – Saturday, October 22 @ 8:00pm ($40). Tickets to this event. Sure, robots can make cocktails, but can they do it better than their human counterparts? The Oregon Bartenders Guild is betting they can't. And, to prove human dominance, they've invited their mechanical rivals to an all out battle on their home turf, the Jupiter Hotel. Cheer on your favorite bartenders (whether they be human or robot) with a cocktail and tasty bites.

Moved to PDX recently and haven’t been out much. Thursday night is “girl night” with my best friend and we would love to enjoy classic cocktails and jazz at Wilf’s.
October 19, 2011 at 10:39
Would love to win tickets to the opening event at Wilfs… Cocktail attire is my FAVORITE attire!
October 19, 2011 at 12:45
Wilf’s is a classic Portland destination, yet I’ve never had the pleasure of this experience in the 26 years I’ve lived here, so it’s about time and then some. I’m thinking prepared-tableside Caesar’s Salad, don’t hold the anchovies, free flowing Pernod Ricard potent potables, and a fine excuse to get all jazzed up and break out the black leather skirt. I’m all in for Thursday at Wilf’s, please.
October 19, 2011 at 14:59
Yacht rocking please. I would like to be casually encouraged to slip on my boat shoes and float past all of life’s troubles with a drink in hand.
October 19, 2011 at 15:23
Yacht rocking, please. Nothing says class like a pair of boat shoes and a cocktail in hand.
October 19, 2011 at 16:08
Robots vs. Bartenders because I’ll need to know how to make perfect drinks for our new mechanical overlords.
October 19, 2011 at 16:51
I was lucky enough to make it to the Don Q event last year, and it was super fun. I would really like to attend Robots vs Bartenders this year to see our hometown barmen (and women) kick some robot butt!
October 19, 2011 at 20:55
Robots vs bartenders! I want to attend so I can be the first to support our new robot overlords.
October 19, 2011 at 22:02

October 20, 2011 at 18:13
Welllll…I’m a HUGE cocktail fan, and I am so excited about this weekend! I’ve been a member of the Wormwood Society since 2004, and I love absinthe and other anise-based spirits–seeing the Pernod event would make my year, plus I actually have a kick-ass dress for it. Further, I haven’t been able to attend any of the Tales of the Cocktails conventions, so to win tickets to any of these events would be bad ass!

Robots vs. Bartenders because my dick is made of Hard Steel.
October 20, 2011 at 19:29
Robots vs. Bartenders, though the bout is fixed as Robots shake their martinis, humans stir.
October 20, 2011 at 19:35
I grew up with parents who worked at Bell Labs, so I got to spend many a day watching robots play ping pong, move through mazes and climb over obstacles, but one thing these wonderful machines never did was make me one god damned cocktail. Robots vs. Bartenders would not only completely alleviate this life long desire, but one up it by placing these machines in direct competition with my current heroes, the purveyors of fine mixed drinks.
October 20, 2011 at 20:51
I would love to go to the event on Oct. 22nd and see Brandon from Beaker and Flask kick robot ass.
October 20, 2011 at 20:54

Robots vs Bartenders. No reason other than the fact that Real Steel seems to be kicking ass in the theaters, and I would love to see it in real life. That, and who doesn’t appreciate a good cocktail?

Robots vs Bartenders!
October 21, 2011 at 07:50
Robots Vs. Bartenders at the Jupiter Hotel, please! It’s man against machine, machine against man…who says chess computes vs man is where it’s at?
October 21, 2011 at 08:40
I’m intending to write an anthropological piece exploring the tension between outward projection of the self image and the in-ward realism of self experiences. To do this I need the best booze in town, and its here. Science!
