I have great memories of this holiday; helping my grandmother to make paper mache flower arrangements to sell at the local cemetery. Dia de los Muertos is all about family and remembering those that have passed on, it’s a great testament to the importance of family and heritage in our culture. I would love to join Pink Rose in celebrating my wonderful Mexican culture.
October 18, 2011 at 16:50
I’ve never celebrated this holiday before.
October 18, 2011 at 16:59

It’s my hubby’s B-day & I would love to take him there for dinner & celebrate Dia De los Muertos w/ him. Also, I am Latina & would be a special way to celebrate & honor my dad’s passing. Thank you. :)
October 19, 2011 at 21:59
Sounds like a great event!
October 19, 2011 at 23:46
I would dress up as a human pinata and be the death of the party if I won this delectable prize. To pursue the worm and toast loved ones who have passed over while eating a wonderfully gourmet south of the border meal in costume…it doesn’t get much more gitschy ,kitschy or ambient than that. No doubt mucho theta waves would be undulating in my brain if I were to attend this enchanting event.
October 20, 2011 at 11:45
I haven’t celebrated Dia de Los Muertos since I moved from San Francisco to Portland 2 years ago! I would love to celebrate in what sounds like fabulous style & share the festivities with my Husband who has never celebrated this holiday!
October 20, 2011 at 12:41

October 20, 2011 at 13:40
…because I haven’t been to a proper tequila tasting since I saved that litter of Mexican puppies from a burning pinata. Gracias!
October 20, 2011 at 17:17
Just gave me a reason to develop a taste for tequila.
October 20, 2011 at 17:53

October 20, 2011 at 18:24
One year for Halloween I was the tequila fairy. I had a squirt gun filled with tequila for shots. This year I would really like some good tequila that doesn’t come from a squirt gun.
October 20, 2011 at 19:03

My fiancee is Mexican, and I’ve always wanted to celebrate El Dia and extend my month long celebration of Halloween. This sounds fun.
October 22, 2011 at 00:13
My name is Starvin Marvin and I am definately starvin and should be dead, so Dia de los Muertos is for me. I celebrated The Day of the Dead in Japan and that was very cool. I became too disabled to work at GOODWILL 6 years ago!!!! I used to be rich and now I get $705 a month disability. I was diagnosed with cancer for christmsas in 2009, but despite that I am starting a business called Starvin Marvin Recycling with grant money. I used to go to free events every evening and all weekend, but have slowed down since my heart attack. I am not that old….Please get me and a date out of the house!!!!I

October 23, 2011 at 05:18
I just wanted to say why I would be overjoyed if I were to receive the tickets to this event at Pink Rose.
I dont have alot of money, and especially money to just use on a night out, so for people like you to just give away tickets, it means alot to me. I just turned 25 and have just recently starting talking and seeing this guy I had lost contact with in high school (about 7 years ago) We just started seeing each other and I think this would be an excellent event for us to really have fun and get to know each other. We grew up in Hillsboro, so Mexican food is fitting for the meal ;)
I have yet to try this restaurant but I’ve heard GREAT reviews of it and would love the opportunity to go. If I am lucky enough to get this I will FOREVER be a loyal patron and fan of both Pink Rose as well as PDXPIPELINE.com
Thank you VERY much for your time and consideration.
October 23, 2011 at 15:20
I’m a Mexican, and i can’t afford to go to Oaxaca for Dia de Los Muertos, so Portland would be the next best thing:)

It was magical! Viva!
