Gabby La La, is a vocalist and multi-instrumentalist (including sitar, ukelele, accordion, theremin and toy piano), signed to Prawn Song Records. After two solid years of touring behind them, the members of Parachute entered the L.A. studio of producer John Fields (Switchfoot, Jonas Brothers, Jimmy Eat World, Andrew W.K. and Rooney) to record The Way It Was, the follow-up to their 2009 Top 40 debut, Losing Sleep.

Lead vocalist/writer Will Anderson, who has been playing with drummer Johnny Stubblefield, bassist Alex Hargrave and saxophone/ keyboardist Kit French since they were high school classmates in Charlottesville, VA, seven years ago. Thrill Portland is celebrating its fifth year of dancing zombies and Michael Jackson roar moves!

On Saturday, Oct. 29 at exactly 7 p.m. (this is a worldwide-timed dance, you know), at the basketball court in Irving Park (NE 7th and Fremont), zombies will convene to perform possibly the most internationally well-known dance besides the hokey-pokey – Michael Jackson’s infamous “Thriller.”
