While it was once illegal, it isn't now! Come join the WingMen in our makeshift Speakeasy as we celebrate the {end of the ;-} age of alcohol prohibition. We have commissioned all the bootleggers, produced an abundance of Bathtub Gin and will be roaring up the Twenties! No Eighteenth Amendment can hold us down!
Bob that hair and bring on the Flappers. Grab that fedora and sport the Gangster in you. Let the style of the times rule your attire because this is when fashion entered the modern era! Professional photographers will be there to help you immortalize the night.
After you grab your complimentary glass of champagne, enjoy the Big Band era with live music by the Shanghai Woolies featuring Gavin Bondy from Pink Martini. The WingMen will be all trained and ready to partner with you while we coach you on the art of swing dancing. Following your best attempt at the Charleston, a DJ will continue the night spinning today's favorites. Come enjoy discounted drink specials, hors d'oeuvres, the charity auction and something very special at 11:11:11 PM on 11.11.11.
Proceeds from this event will benefit Bridge Meadows, a local charity that has developed an intergenerational neighborhood for adoptive families of foster children. Not only do foster children gain permanency and caring relationships, but elderly seniors are provided meaningful purpose by learning how their presence in the children's lives can make an impact. Members from Bridge Meadows will be in attendance and additional contributions are welcome at the event.

Because I have a flapper’s haircut and I dream dreams of Great Gatsby parties…and when I try to do the Charleston I knock my needs. I could seriously benefit from a professional how-to!!

My husband and I were married earlier this year and he has been trying to get my cute butt to Swing Dance since we met, three years ago. He has taken a few classes (before we met) and throws me around the house sometimes :)
I would absolutely love to surprise him with tickets to this event… he would be so happy!! He has an awesome fedora and I would be more than happy to get a new dress to wear.

Sounds right up my alley! I throw a speakeasy party in my prohibition-era basement bar every year, with a full range of homemade beer, cider, and liqueurs. I also have a new 1920′s design suit to wear!

Sounds like another fabulous event. Alas I spent my extra funds on last weeks’ Halloween costumes and putting the rest in savings for the holiday gifting season. Can you help a lady out?
Merci!

My boyfriend and I have done a night of salsa dancing and had so much fun, and I’d love to expand our dance repertoire with some swing while partying 1920s style!

You call it 1920′s attire. I call it another Friday night with a Tom Collins in a speak easy seeing some dames about some things.
