The annual Portland version of Macy's Thanksgiving Day Holiday Parade returns this Friday from 9AM-10AM, with Santaland beginning right after at 11AM. There are 24 inflatable floats, equestrian units, and over 450 costumed characters, marching bands, and more.

The 2011 Major League Soccer Cup Final / Championship takes place today and it could be last LA Galaxy game for soccer star & international celebrity David Beckham. In fact, it is not sure if Beckham will be able to play at this time.

From Yahoo Sports: For the Galaxy, Beckham's involvement was cast into some doubt when the England midfielder missed two days of training due to a mystery complaint this week. L.A. will do everything it can to get him on the field in what could be his last game with the club. The crossing and free-kick ability of the 36-year-old Beckham helped the team to an unbeaten home record during the regular season. Read more here…
