The great-grandchildren of Captain von Trapp keep the great tradition alive.

You'll love hearing once more the great tunes from ¬Å“The Sound of Music¬Â as well as their holiday favorites. Let the Season Begin!

The Sound of Music captured the hearts of millions when the film debuted in 1965. Now, forty years later, the von Trapp's family legacy is born anew. Meet Sofia, Melanie, Amanda, and Justin von Trapp. They are the great-grandchildren of Captain von Trapp, father of the famous singing family whose story captivated the world in the musical The Sound of Music. The siblings have continued the tradition of the family's exceptional musical gift and love of singing, sharing songs and heart-warming family stories of life before and after coming to America.

The von Trapp's perform a variety of folk and classical songs from various European and American traditions, as well as timeless pieces from The Sound of Music. Their effervescent voices mesh the way only a family's can, and musicians and audiences from all over the world recognize the families beautiful harmonic blend and pristine tone.

This would be a spectacular way to kick off the holiday season for our family. My three little, ladies ages: 10, 8, 6 adore the Sound of Music! They consider their singing comparable to that of the Von Trapp Family ;) They enjoy putting on living room performances to their favorite songs. Thank you for your consideration. I would love to take my 11 year old daughter for a night out at the Schnitzer. She is a budding singer and we have watched the Sound of Music multiple times over the years together. The sound of Music reminds me of the holidays as a child. We would watch the movie every year when it came on the TV around Thanksgiving or Christmas. I am grateful my mother exposed me to music as a child and gave me the opportunity to gain an appreicaton for the arts that I can now pass on to my daughter. Thanks!
