On Friday, come witness the bouting debut of the next generation of RCR superstars as the newest members of Portland’s four home teams play on two mixed teams. On Friday night watch the newly drafted High Rollers team up with Heartless Heathers, and they’re taking on the Emerald City Roller Girls from Eugene. It’s the first of two Rose City Roller bouts this action-packed weekend!
On Saturday night watch the newly drafted Breakneck Betties team up with Guns n Rollers, and they’re taking on the Southern Oregon Rollergirls from Medford. It’s the second of two Rose City Roller bouts this action-packed weekend!
RCR is partnering with Impact NW as our Q4 sponsored charity. Fans who bring a gift donation to our December 2nd and 3rd Newbie bouts will be entered in a raffle to win a 2012 season ticket – a new drawing each night! Check the list of Suggested Donations below for ideas.
Parking will be free for this event! Please note, sitting alongside the track puts you within feet of the action and places you at higher risk of involvement in a skater collision. Arrive early enough to make seating arrangements you are comfortable with. No outside beverages or containers are allowed into bouts, except sealed water bottles.

I would love to win tickets for Saturday. I recently met a really cute guy and I offered that we should go see the bouts on Saturday since one of my long lost dreams is to be a newbie.
But then we found out how much it cost and realized we couldn’t go :(

I have yet to make it to a derby – would love to see our city in action…and too see Oaks Park rink transformed for this event. I used to circle around that rink as a child, then pre teen nervously holding hands with a boy. Checking out this scene would bring the rink into my adult life – create a new and improved memory.
