Watch 2012 Rose Bowl In Portland & Online: Oregon Ducks vs Wisconsin Badgers | Food & Drink Specials
December 29, 2011 — PDXPIPELINE
The 2012 Rose Bowl is this Monday with the Oregon Ducks taking on the Wisconsin Badgers in Pasadena. The Ducks are looking to make a statement after falling to Ohio State in the 2010 Rose Bowl and Auburn in the National Championship last year.
NIKE unveiled their new Darth Vader-esque uniforms this week. The helmets look like mirrors, but Wisconsin is apparently not worried.
From ESPN: It looks like a big mirror. Have you seen the helmet? If so, are you worried about any reflection?
Wisconsin QB Russell Wilson confessed that he had not seen the helmet. He said he was “sure they’re good-looking helmets” but he wasn’t really worried about the Ducks helmets and whether he might be able to see his reflection in one.
“Oregon is a great football team,” Wilson said. “They have, I guess, the fashion going on where they can wear whatever they want and look pretty good in it. But that’s not what the game comes down to.” Read More here…
