It's back! Come join us on Sunday January 15th at noon for the 2nd year of celebrating the excellent breweries we are so lucky to have in our neighborhood. Participants this year are Lucky Labrador, Coalition Brewing, Natian Brewing, Migration Brewing, Buckman Brewing, Cascade Brewing and Burnside Brewing!
Admission is only $10 which gets you a Brewfest Pint Glass (a real pint glass, not plastic! Yeah!) and 4 tickets. Tickets are $1 each and 1 ticket gets you one taster or a full pint for 4 tickets. We'll have great food and of course lots of great beers.

This would be a fun event to attend for my girlfriend and I. I love Portland microbrews, but know I have barely scratched the surface. I’m also a beginner home brewer, and want to try making hard cider and even Mead next!

This would be perfect! My long distance boyfriend is back in town this weekend. And with gas prices as they are, I’m ALWAYS looking for cheap entertainment (though after a few drinks, I’m sure we will buy a few more!):
He’s a boy from the country who grew up on Busch, Ranier, and PBR. I’m a suburban girl who’d rather throw down ambers, porters and stouts. So, winning these tickets would give me an opportunity to share some of the finer beers in life with my eastern Washington-residing boyfriend, and help make his decision to move west of the Cascades a little easier! Heck, I might even find an IPA that I like!

just returned from san antonio, and while there are a couple of good microbreweries there (there actually are only two), i’ve been in need of re-acclimating to my portland environs. H-E-L-P M-E!!!
Fact: My girlfriend recently discovered she likes sour beers, which is awesome because she otherwise only likes lagers and witbiers.
Secondary fact: My girlfriend does not frequent beer fests with me due to the preceding fact.
Ultimate fact: By winning these free tickets, I will be able to take her to a beer festival where we can both enjoy beer we like and she can be introduced to other brewers that cater to her taste.

Being a connoisseur of hand crafted brews as well as recently taking up the hobby of brewing as my own, it is great to be able to talk and brag about what other local creations are on the market. Unique brews and the community surrounding beer appreciation are among the things that I most admire about Portland.
