The Old Church Free Sack Lunch Concert Series

The Old Church, Portland's historic events venue, presents free concerts every Wednesday, at noon. Come, relax, and enjoy an hour of fine music performed by local artists. Donations welcomed.  The Old Church was built in 1882, and is one of the oldest and most beautiful buildings in the Pacific Northwest. No longer a home to any one congregation, The Old Church is now a nonprofit historic site, available for a wide variety of community functions - from weddings, to concerts, to lectures, to plays.

But does it?¬Â Energized by the optimism surrounding Obama’s presidency and concerned with the fierce partisanship infecting Congress, Phillips’ latest project is Constitution Cafe (2011), an effort to engage everyday Americans in constructive dialogue and debate about the nature of our government, the meaning of citizenship and our most important political documents.
