Here is another one to add to the list, the Mt Angel winter Oktoberfest, aka Wurstfest. It’s just a short distance from Portland and they’ve got Oompah bands, Polka, beer, dancing, and of course sausages.

The Best Fest after Oktoberfest is Wurstfest!
Come Celebrate the Last Blast of Winter at Wurstfest featuring Non Stop Music, Dancing, World Famous German and Domestic Beers, German Sausage and Food, Arts and Crafts and more
Area sausage makers and vendors present for sale the best of their wursts – bratwurst, bockwurst, knackwurst, Oktoberfest sausage and other variations. On tap are World famous German and domestic beers, regional wines, and non-alcoholic drinks. Savor artisan breads and cheeses, pizza, chocolates and roasted nuts. and many other ethnic offerings. Enjoy non-stop music and dancing on our new Biergarten ballroom quality dance floor. A selection of arts and crafts is offered for your viewing pleasure or to purchase and take home with you.
Admission is $10.00 and includes a half-liter souvenir Bavarian glass beer mug (first 2000). Children accompanied by an adult are free.

Wurstfest Directions:
- From the north on I-5 take the Woodburn exit #271 and follow State Highway #214 to Mt. Angel (approx. 10 miles)
- From the south on I-5 take the Market St. exit #256 at Salem and follow signs to State Highway #214. Proceed east through Silverton to Mt. Angel (approx. 16 miles)
