Intown Church and People's Art of Portland present the seventh annual Works, an event celebrating the diverse art, music, and culture of Portland. Works showcases Portland's musical and spoken word talent, as well as hosting a curated gallery of local visual artists in the gothic atmosphere of The Old Church, one of downtown Portland's landmark buildings.
The musicians, artists and performers at Works attract hundreds of people each year. Attendees also enjoy great beer and wine paired with locally sourced food prepared by chef Berkley Braden.
This year's musical guests are Portland's beloved AgesandAges, the always amazing musical chameleon Bryan Free, and dark electro pop outfit Purse Candy, along with spoken word artist, Jeff Hardison.
Visual artists and craftspeople exhibiting and selling their painting, sculpture and fine crafts include:

Art is but poetry without words

There are MANY good artists in this town, but where are all the talentless art critics? We can fill this gap and provide the evening with a perfect balance, if only given the chance

Simply put, I want to win these tickets because my boyfriend is a geek. We love Portland with a passion, but I’ll level with you- his horizons need broadening like models need Monte Cristo sandwiches. And to tell you the truth, I could stand a good cultural injection. Thanks!
