Hot on the heels of its inaugural edition in January, Naked Girls Reading - Portland is back in February, this time with an evening of works by Pacific Northwest authors. If you spend any amount of your life here, you know the Pacific Northwest's drizzly and cool tendencies makes it the ideal environment for curling up indoors with a good book¬Â¦ with or without clothes!
The February 2012 edition of NGRpdx is geared up to celebrate those authors who are or have been based out of the Pacific Northwest, and will feature readings by Claire Voltaire, The OverLady, Madison Moone, and Zoey d'Posey, as well as NGRpdx founders Rayleen Courtney and Sophie Maltease. The evening will be hosted by local erotic luminary, Angelique DeVil.
This event takes place on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at the historic Star Theater (13 NW 6th Avenue, Downtown). Doors will open at 8:00pm, and the readings will begin promptly at 9:00pm. Only drinking-aged adults will be permitted, and attendees are advised that this event features full nudity.

I was at the last NGR and loved it. Best seats in the house, front and center. They read form some great authors including Douglas Adams and Carl Sagan. It was at times hilarious and at others poignant. I would absolutely go again!
I’ve traveled back in time from the year 2025 where Sophie Maltease has become the supreme unchallenged overlord of the planet. This is a bright and wonderous future where there is no more war. Unicorns roam free across the plains. Scientists have even managed to crossbreed a cat with a pop-tart. The Malteasean historical society has pinpointed this NGR as the turning point of our society when the great ruler took control. The Westboro Baptist Army has sent an Assassin back through time to stop this from happening. I was sent back in time to stop him. Help me PDXpipeline, you’re our only hope for the future!
I immediately was intrigued when I saw this, and would love to get a chance to go. As a writer, philomath, and appreciator of beauty, I think this would be a great event to attend. It’s good to see new spins on getting people involved in the literary world, and the people who get involved with this event are just the type of people I think i would enjoy talking with and sharing this awesome experience with.
