Jai Ho! (victory to you) is a monthly dance party on third Saturdays at Chop Suey (Seattle) & last Saturdays at Lola’s Room (Portland), featuring a new flavor every month.

Authentic and crossover Indian Dance Music (Bollywood & Bhangra) with dance lessons, dance performances and LIVE singing — make Jai Ho! an experience where anyone and everyone joins the fun and dances, regardless of age, culture or nationality.

After completing two years in Portland, for the month of February, Jai Ho! makes its 1st appearance on the east side of the river at Holocene with the costume dance party themed “Bollywood Disco”.

The man behind Jai Ho! is the multitalented Dancer, DJ & Singer – Prashant, hailing from Mumbai, India, Prashant is well known as one of the most exuberant & energetic Bollywood entertainers in North America.

    I would like to have some out and out crazy fun dressing up as a Bollywood Disco chump with my g/f in some cool indian bollywood disco outfit. We are both cracker white so this will be a blast. Let us know so we can complete our costumes in time…मजाक

    I love the jai ho parties! My good friend is coming to visit from california and I would love to show her a good time at holocene! I’ve told her all about the music and dance and how fun it is! Please pick me its my only weekend off this month!

    Bollywood dance music and Disco outfits will be featured in the same great venue on the same night. This is a dream come true for me! I have been looking forward to this for a month.
