“Chaski,” is the Quechua name for the running messengers of Pre-Hispanic Peru, and features Luciana Proaño in dance and JB Butler on guitar and effects.
Flowing a like river, constantly shifting in innumerable ways over varied terrain, Chaski is never the same. Since its premiere in 1997, it continues to engage and entrance audiences around the world, inviting them to experience of the creation of an ever present moment. Filled with expansive soundscapes, abstract visual projections, and a set that bridges the gap between stage and audience, Chaski is an enduring performance to remember.
