Join us for an evening celebrating Latin dance music! We’ll explore traditional Latin rhythms with live Mexican cumbia band Raffa de Alaska y Sus Compas, surburban Portland’s best-kept secret, who had the whole house moving at our Dia de Los Muertos celebration back in November.
Then we’ll move into more electronic offshoots of the Cumbia phenomenon, the digital cumbia/electro cumbia of Argentina and Colombia. Expect a sweaty tropical fiasco on the dancefloor!
