The Blazers had one of their worst games all season on Monday. Not one player could find the basket and no one was willing to defend. The Blazers were only in that game because Houston had a hard time making shots as well but as soon as they did, the Blazers were in trouble fast. This game might be a little easier on the Blazers but it appears they will be without Batum and Aldridge, their two highest scorers. That makes this game really anyone’s for the taking.

The Warriors are just plain awful. In their last seventeen games, they are 4-13. That is ridiculous and only the Bobcats are worse. They have been in tank mode for draft picks for a long time, yet their early success has hindered that as they are only the ninth worst team in the NBA. As of late, they are a top five worst team, maybe top three. A full Blazers squad would stomp this team in no time. This team can’t do anything well and is really looking forward to next season.

The Warriors:

Starting Lineup: Charles Jenkins, Klay Thompson, David Lee, Dorell Wright, Jeremy Tyler

Bench: Brandon Rush, Richard Jefferson, Nate Robinson, Andris Biedrins, Mickell Gladness

X's and O's:

All the Warriors do well is shoot threes, so all the Blazers have to do is close out around the perimeter. The Blazers don’t have to pack it in on defense and team defense should not be an issue either. As long as they stay in front of their man and guard the arc, they should win. On offense, someone will have to step up if Aldridge and Batum miss the game. But against this team, any Blazer could look like an all-star. Look for Hickson to have a great game.

Advantage Blazers:

The Blazers can play as loose and as free as they want. The only thing that would bring them down about this loss is it is against one of the worst teams in basketball right now. If the players on the court have any pride at all, they will win this game.

Last Words:.

It is surprising and shocking this game is on ESPN considering these are two lottery teams with nothing to play for. There is an old movie called ‘White Men Can’t Jump¬Â and one of the more memorable lines is ¬Å“Sometimes when you win, you really lose…¬Â That could be said for this game. The winning team just loses more ping-pong balls during the draft.

Games this week:

Dallas 4/13

@ Sacramento 4/15

@ Phoenix 4/16
