  7. Derek Neuland April 25, 2012 at 12:24 #

I would love to attend Stumptown Comics Fest this year because I have gone every year since I’ve moved to Portland in 2009, but this year might be the first year i’m unable to go due to lack of funds.

  8. katie April 25, 2012 at 12:24 #

i’d like to bring my new-to-portland/new-to-webcomics boyfriend to see what a vibrant and diverse comics community we have here!

  9. Alisha April 25, 2012 at 12:32 #

A comics fest that doesn’t require driving to Seattle? Sign me up, please!

  10. Ed Kuehnel April 25, 2012 at 12:34 #

I’d like to attend with my children to help foster their budding romance with comics; to encourage them to draw and create stories with pictures.

  11. Stefan Jones April 25, 2012 at 12:35 #

I go to Stumptown each year to (in addition to seeing discussions) drop $100 in the dealer’s room on new indie comics.

  12. Hannah McLain April 25, 2012 at 12:38 #

I want to attend so I can support the hard work of indie comics artists, especially KINOKO who will be selling her thesis project issue 1 of her retelling of The Epic of Gilgamesh. PNCA ARTISTS REPRESENT <3

  13. Rob casteel April 25, 2012 at 12:39 #

Stumptown is the best comic show in town and the Stumptown crew is awesome for giving away tickets!!!

  14. Peter Lapp April 25, 2012 at 12:40 #

I’m already making a fine place for those tickets to rest – in my pocket. I’ve never gone to Stumptown before and it’s about damn that changed. My girlfriend’s never been before either and I’m sure she’d love nothing more than to hang out all weekend geeking over gorgeous Allred prints.

  15. Lesley April 25, 2012 at 12:49 #

I took my son last year and we had so much fun. He’s been saving his allowance up so he can buy more stuff this year!

  16. Dyche April 25, 2012 at 12:57 #

  17. Scott April 25, 2012 at 12:58 #

The last couple of years I’ve had to work on the weekends that Stumptown fell on. I’ve always wanted to go and this year I finally have the opportunity, which is exciting in and of itself. I hope it’ll be as fun as everyone as said.

  18. PhilipF April 25, 2012 at 13:02 #

I would love to attend Stumptown this year, as I have in the past, but money is too tight right now. So I’d really love it if I won a pair of passes.

  19. Matt April 25, 2012 at 13:08 #

Stumptown is my kind of comics fest: no stormtroopers or Playstation reps, tons of local folks/companies, and scads of new-to-me artists and works to blow my mind. My family and I look forward to it all year.

  20. Gerald Atkins Jr April 25, 2012 at 13:19 #

I would like to check out STCF because I’ve never been to a comicon before and it looks rad.

  21. Andrew Nisbet April 25, 2012 at 13:33 #

I want to attend because this is the only festival of it’s kind in the state. They always have a great selection of guests, panels, and workshops. And by winning passes, it gives me that much more money to spend at the show.

  22. Kyle stone-chilla April 25, 2012 at 13:51 #

The new la brujeriais debuting. Need I say more?

  23. Richard A. Scott April 25, 2012 at 14:06 #

    tickets please?

  27. Sol April 26, 2012 at 13:14 #

Yes, please. Going in any case, but a free pass means more moolah to spend on comics and stuff…

  28. Natalie Sneed April 26, 2012 at 14:50 #

The idea of going to this comic festival makes me so happy! I’ve only just gotten into comics the last few years, but I love them forever !!!

I would love these tickets because my boyfriend moved here in January from Philadelphia and still isn’t convinced that Portland is the shit. He is a HUGE comics lover and going to the comicfest would definitely help win him over that he needs to stay in Portland with me :)

  32. Lynn April 26, 2012 at 16:18 #

  34. Nick April 26, 2012 at 16:31 #

You can help a poor girl and her hapless father escape the two-dimensional world of library, park, coffee shop, into which they drift every weekend. A three-dimensional passage through the Convention Center altered by otherworldly things would be just the ticket(s).

  35. Joe M. April 26, 2012 at 16:34 #

Been reading comics all my life and a huge supporter of stumptown, cheers!

  36. Carolyn April 26, 2012 at 16:41 #
