Theo Von recently shot a half-hour special for Comedy Central’s “The Half Hour.” He’s the genius behind CrankTexts.com, a website where he texts random numbers and gets into conversations with total strangers. CrankTexts was a weekly featured article on College Humor.
CrankTexts.com has had 10 million page views and averages 18 clicks per visit. Theo is also the host of “The Comedy Sideshow” podcast — consistently one of the 10 most downloaded video podcasts on iTunes. He is a Louisiana native whom you may recognize as the winner of Comedy Central’s “Reality Bites Back,” from NBC’s “Last Comic Standing” and Comedy Central’s “Live at Gotham.”
Theo’s work as a stand-up comedian has garnered him numerous accolades including performing internationally at the South African Comedy Festival and in the states at both the Chicago Just for Laughs Festival and South Beach Comedy Festival. Randomly I recognized them name, way back to his Real World days. I love that he is doing comedy! I always found him funny. And, simply…I could use the night away!
Helium is the MOST amazing comedy club around. I don’t currently have the budget to fit this show in but would absolutely LOVE to attend this showing!

Hey I’ve seen this Guy before. He’s really funny! wasn’t he on MTV?? Oh man I could use a good laugh right now and he could so that for me. I would like to go cuz I will bring so much laugher that no one else would even need to so but that wont happen. Man this would be awesome to go to! 9:30 would be the time I would like to go and bust a gut laughing my ass off.

I used to work at Iorio right below Helium Comedy Club, but never made it upstairs for a show! I’d love to get my laugh on this Saturday!
I would love to take my husband to this, he has been a big ball of stress lately, we could use some laughs!
