V-E Day is a date that marks one of the most significant events in the 20th century. The day that the allied forces accepted the unconditional surrender of Nazi Germany and therefore ended Adolph Hitler’s Third Reich. This was an event that was celebrated all over the world. So as a commemoration of that day Swingtime & DRK Northwest present a celebration of the music, dancing and fashion of the 1940′s.
So to honor one of the most tumultuous and also grand eras of our history we will dance the night away to live music performed by The Careless Lovers, dressed in our classiest swing dancing attire till the clock strikes midnight.
