My best friend in the whole world is coming to visit from Maryland and we LOVE dressing up for crazy events! Please let us let our inner Frenchies out for this great party!!
J’aime les Francais.
I cheated on how to spell this because I need more French in my life.
Bastille Day would be ‘parfait’
I got a minor in European history in college and the storming of the Bastille was ALWAYS my favorite subject. It marked the beginning of revolution, and ultimately change in governmental system and everyday life of the French. Unfortunately, it also led to the execution of the ever-glamorous Marie Antoinette.
Plus, I LOVE wine! :)
Who wouldn’t want to celebrate Bastille Day at Willakenzie?? Such a fantastic venue – great wine & countryside. Plus – it’s after July 5th, so the sun will be out!!
I am very good at ‘storming’ BBQ sliders, appreciate the Oregon wine revolution and its displacement of the enological monarchy that used to exist, and am egalitarian in my enjoyment of great wines and food.
I’d just really love to come!
I would like to win because I love, love wine and of course, food! Also, I don’t live that far from Yamhill.
Since I can’t go to France, Bastille Day; La Fête Nationale at Willakenzie Estate is the next best thing! To combine one of the best chefs in the Portland metro (Pascal Chureau) with a top Oregon winery- this is going to be an event not to miss!
I want to spend an afternoon sipping wine with Ronni, celebrating Bastille Day and all things French together!
Bastille Day in wine country — what could be better?
Willakenzie Willakenzie

Willakenzie Willakenzie

Willakenzie Willakenzie
your Bastille Day festivities
would be so much better

Ca c’est Bastille Day?! I want to go!
Wow this sounds like a lot of fun. I took French in school and have always been interested in French culture and cultural events….plus I LOVE wine. Even if I don’t win, I hope I can come out for a visit to Willakenzie!!
My wife and I love going to local winerys…some of our favorites are Icicle Ridge Winery near Leavenworth, WA…Sweet Cheeks in Crow, Oregon…King’s Estate in Eugene, OR…St. Josphes in Canby, OR…Willamette Winery and many more…we would love to see and Taste what Willakenzie Estate Winery has to offer….
Pick me* pick me… sounds so fun And have never been to a wine event.!
This would be so much fun.
Chef Pascal’s food is out of this world!
My husband and I would love to escape the city for a day with good food and wine.
July 15 is also St Swithin’s Day. Legend says if it rains on that day, it will rain for 40 more. (Or as we call it, a normal northwest summer). Whatever the day brings, I could use some wine while I whine about the weather.
This coincides with my and my partner’s two-year anniversary. Our last anniversary was actually spent in Paris (and we aren’t rich, I just have a lot of student loan debt and was in school at the time). It would be amazing to follow it up with a short trip that, now that my loans are in repayment, neither of us can afford. I speak French, too, and have a Euro Studies Master. Please hope me!!!
This would be fantastic to win so I could give it as a gift to a fabulous couple in need of a some time together. This economy has sucked them dry
I have been wanting to visit Willakenzie Estate, and what a great way to celebrate the storming of the Bastille. Mais oui!! S’il vous plait y merci.
32 years ago my sweet husband proposed to me on Bastille Day! Each year we celebrate our engagement on THAT day! As native Oregonians we celebrate within our beautiful state,of course with wine from Oregon’s vineyards. My maiden name, DeVore, reflects my French roots, so this would be a PERFECT day and way for us to celebrate our amore’!
Wahooo betsy! I’d love to play rich for a day and treat my lady right. Sign me up to win.
Bastille day is my favorite day!
I HEART Willakenzie like a fat kid loves cake. I sell WK’s beautiful wines on a daily basis at Portland City Grill. Nothing could be better than a day to play, drink, and eat at their gorgeous estate! Plus, I have not had the opportunity to wish Thibaud a Bon Anniversaire!
A good friend of mine and I have been wanting to do wine tasting and this would a great introduction to it. I just moved to the Portland area as well, so this would give us the a great way to see more of the area!
I never have made it to a vineyard before, although I do enjoy good wine! My time has come. I must be the one!! :)
(pretty please with yummy grapes on top!!)
I love the Polish!
I am organizing a Petanque shooting competition for La Provence Restaurant on Bastille Day (July 14th) so I will be sooo busy entertaining and winning ticket to be entertained would be blissful. If I don’t get picked, Bonne fête nationale a tout mes amis Français et Americains :)
S’il vous plait and por favor!
What a great day
out on the manor…
French Cotton Candy – that has got to be fantastic!
Oui, Oui pick me!
I want to practice my French at this event, and I need wine to give me confidence boost!
It would be so perfect to spend the day at Willakenzie Estate Winery….I am French and have lived in Portland for the past 11 years……I will be celebrating in downtown Portland on July 14th…Vive la France! Aux armes les citoyens….!
This Bastille Day will be my sister Linda’s 59th birthday. It would have also been her 33rd wedding anniversary but her husband Michael died in 2001. Linda lives in Boston but loves Oregon Wine Country. These tickets just might convince her to get her derriere back out here! If not, I will use them and drink beaucoup Pierre Leon to her good health.
i just woke up in this box. as i type the room gets smaller. an oblong button below my deminishing space says “submit comment.” not sure what to do: if i “submit comment” my whole situation may change, but for better or worse? say i’m no longer in this box (now 2/3rds full and shrinking), who is to say i’ll be better off. or even recognizable?
#36, incase someone can not take tix :-)
this looks so amazing
who wouldn’t want to celebrate Bastille Day at Willakenzie?? Ive heard so much about this place, and this would be the perfect event to go to!
You had me at pork confit sliders. Chef Pascal Chureau is teriffic. We would love to attend. This sounds great.
J’ai parle Francais, and embrace the world’s diversity of cultures. To encourage my global approach, tickets for this event would greatly support my mission. Please.
i’d love to get tickets and force my friends to dress up for theirs!
Fun, fun, fun… I want to go!!
Would love to celebrate Bastille Day! Please choose me!
I would SOOO love to attend this… would be a perfect way to end my #2daysinSeattle on the highest note possible…. coming home to Bastille DAY!! Woot!!

great winery, great wines, nice people, all sound like a fun time to me. I want to go to Bastille days!
My best friend and her husband are currently galavanting across France. And what am I doing? Cat sitting for them. 3 cats = a lot of cleaning the litter and vacuuming let me tell ya. It would be absolutely fantastic to get a break from this feline den and experience a little snippet of the French cuisine they are currently enjoying on their vacation. Pretty please supply me with the means for a mini French vacation! :)
I would love to go to this. My summer has not yet really kicked off or had a super fun event or something to look forward too. This would totally give me something awesome to look forward too! Help a lady out, I would really love your face if you did:) Oh who am I kidding, I already kinda love your face;)
I must find out what the guillotine cocktail is !!
This will be the perfect date! We just moved here from Texas and have been enjoying the cooler weather and all the cool things to do!
Bastille Day would be so much fun!! I’ve just started getting more into wine and I think this would be awesomee!
It’s been 25 years since my beloved partner returned home from Paris, where she worked with immigrants and refugees. She had the privilege to travel France from ville to village coming to know the many cuisines, cheeses, wines and cultures that make France the strong and rich country that it is. I would love to surprise her with tickets to this extraordinary affair. Thanks.
Faye
I’d like to win tickets because I love wine and it’s my favorite winery in Oregon!

I’d love to go with my mom so we can celebrate our French heritage, of which she is so proud.
Love Willakenzie wines
I am recently back in the beautiful Northwest after a few years in England, and I need to have this experience to make my first summer back home perfect! Plus, A Tale of Two Cities is my favorite book, so what better way to honor Sydney Carton?
Incidentally, Bastille Day is also our wedding anniversary. : )
I would like to win so I can celebrate the proud French tradition of baguettes and booze!
Oooh pretty please pick us! We loooove Willakenzie!!!
Summer. Three kids. No escape…
I need a day in Paris, this is as close as I’ll come this summer :D
omg after 2 months of being away, this would be a great day trip for the hubby and I.
yeah who won the tickets?
I am so confused about the July 4th drawing. I just got this today, the 5th?
At any rate, I would love to go because I had a blast at last years party in the Pearl and I think the vineyard would be a fantastic location for the event.
Amazing!
I’ve never been to Yamhill nor celebrated Bastille Day – what a great way to kill two birds with one stone (or faire d’une pierre deux coups en français :-)!!!
Would love to attend with my hubby, we both love wine!
I’m new to the West Coast and would LOVE to get the chance to explore what this side of the country has to offer!!
This looks amazing! Always wanted to check it out.
This sounds awesome! I’m brand new to Portland and would love to take my lady put for a night of fun!
