Mission: Small Business & Facebook
Chase bank is giving away $3 million in grants to advance their position on Facebook with Mission: Small Business and you can help bring $250k of that to Portland Mobile Developers. You know, those guys that crank out wicked mobile apps for your smartphone…
iParse has developed a unique automatic capture technology for mobile banking, which automatically captures and processes check images, so they can be deposited using just your smartphone. Cool, huh? It’s live, but we need help from Portlandia’s Mobile Developers to write more code. iParse only needs 200 votes on Facebook to qualify to be considered for the grant. While it’s a long shot that iParse will be selected once qualified, we feel we have a shot because the selection committee has a vested interested in using automatic check capture technology.
iParse is pledging that if awarded the grant, 100% of the $250,000 will be used paying Portland-area Mobile Developers to write the code.
TO VOTE: It’s easy and only takes a 13 seconds. Just go to https://www.missionsmallbusiness.com, login with your Facebook account (or create a new Facebook account, it is an iPod nano afterall). Then, search for “iParse” under business name and give us a vote. You can also search for “mission small business” on Facebook (www.facebook.com), search for “iParse” and give us a vote. DEADLINE: All votes must be received by 8:00 pm, Saturday, June 30, 2012.
